Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, failed payments, customer delays and recoveries are handled.

Before activation
- The setup flow and website concepts are not a payment checkout.
- A trial website can be reviewed before paid activation.
- No monthly plan is active until the customer chooses a website and completes activation.
Activation fees
- Activation fees cover setup and are normally not refundable after activation work has started.
- If LocalLaunch SA cannot provide the activated website service, we may refund the relevant activation fee or offer a practical remedy.
- Customer delays, missing content, unavailable domains or rejected content claims do not automatically make activation fees refundable.
Monthly and yearly plans
- Monthly plans can be cancelled before the next renewal period.
- Access normally continues until the end of the paid period.
- Yearly plan refunds are considered case by case and may exclude setup, domain, provider and already-delivered service costs.
- Failed payments may pause hosting, publishing, custom domain features or support until resolved.
Domains and add-ons
- Domain registrations, renewals and transfers are usually non-refundable once submitted to a registrar.
- Third-party provider fees may be non-refundable even if the website plan is cancelled.
- Add-ons such as done-for-you edits, Google Business Profile work, advanced SEO, ads or email inbox work are quoted and refunded according to the work already started or delivered.
Suspension and recovery
- Cancelled or unpaid websites may be suspended after the paid period or trial period ends.
- We aim to keep suspended website data recoverable for a limited period, but customers should keep copies of important materials.
- Reactivation may require clearing overdue payments, renewing domains or accepting updated terms.
These plain-language policies are operational guidance for LocalLaunch SA and customers. They should be reviewed by a qualified South African attorney before high-volume processing.
