FAQ
Quick Answers
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can review a 30-day free trial website on a LocalLaunch subdomain before paid activation. Activation is needed to keep it live, remove trial limits and connect a custom domain.
How much does it cost?
Monthly plans start at R299. A once-off activation fee starts at R499 and covers initial setup. Hosting, SSL and the editor are included while your plan is active. Domains and optional add-ons are priced separately.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Yearly options are available: Starter R3,490/year, Business R5,990/year and Premium R9,990/year, with setup included.
What is the activation fee?
The activation fee is a once-off setup fee paid when you choose a website and activate your plan. Monthly plans have a separate monthly fee after activation.
How long does it take?
You can complete the setup in a few minutes, compare website concepts in your account, and test the selected website live for 30 days before activation. Final launch timing depends on your content, domain and payment status.
Can I request changes?
Yes. You can edit content, images, sections, colours and contact details in your browser, then preview and publish your changes.
Do I need my own domain?
No. You can start without one. If you need a domain, we can help you choose and connect it. Registration and renewal are charged separately.
What happens after the trial expires?
The trial website may be suspended after 30 days if it is not activated. We keep the website recoverable for a limited period so you can still activate it later.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel according to the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period, unless there is abuse, failed payment or a serious terms breach.
What is not included?
Domains, email inboxes, done-for-you edits, advanced SEO, ad setup, Google Business Profile work, custom integrations, extra pages and logo/copywriting work are separate unless clearly included in writing.
What is included?
Every plan includes the website editor, mobile-first layouts, hosting, SSL, contact actions, version history, and the page allowance shown on the Packages page.
